The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) used a Boeing 727-100, N123 for systems evaluation and for pilot flight-checks. The aircraft was based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in October of 1966. A later aircraft number N127 is shown in the newer livery the FAA had adopted.
